HUB: Health Unbound

Powered by the mHealth Alliance (mHA), Health Unbound (HUB) is the interactive network and online knowledge resource center for the mobile health (mHealth) community. One of the challenges in advancing mHealth is that many of the projects taking place are isolated from one another, and are unable to share information and best practices. HUB aims to overcome this obstacle by enabling the mHealth community to exchange ideas, share projects and outcomes, and build connections among the dynamic mHealth community.
Through HUB, the mHA brings together individuals from all disciplines of the mHealth community, from developers to doctors, to generate collective solutions and inspire new innovations that will transform health with technology. HUB is also where the mHA offers its comprehensive database of mHealth technologies, programs, organizations and policies to promote collaboration of efforts and best practices from lessons learned.
The idea for the mHA and HUB emanated from a July 2008 conference in Bellagio, Italy on the future of mHealth. Participants envisioned an overarching "network of networks" to bring together diverse stakeholders, ideas, and activities — a network to foster discussion and collaboration, providing the foundation for the meaningful use of technology in health. With your participation, HUB is making that network a reality.
HUB is sponsored by the mHealth Alliance, hosted by the United Nations Foundation.
